Jolei is a painter from Plano, Texas. Influenced by her grandfather, Jolei discovered the world of visual art in her teens. Inspired by the work of Frida Kahlo and Jackson Pollock her paintings have a strongly Expressionist style, in which the subject itself is modified for emotional effect to evoke moods or ideas.
